2025-2026 Professional Development Opportunities

MEBA offers a variety of professional development opportunities for educators, business leaders and community members including career expos, contextual teaching and learning seminars, field studies, financial literacy workshops, networking for CDF’s, virtual events and more.

MEBA’s Educator Field Studies Series provides Midlands educators with a front row seat to learn about various industries within the 16 career clusters as well as related career paths, required skills and education, labor market statistics and workforce trends. Educators take what they learn back to the classroom, adding relevance to core curriculum and better preparing future employees. The series also promotes networking among educators and industry professionals creating extended learning opportunities and partnerships.

The registration for each opportunity will be posted four weeks prior to the event.  Since space is limited, we ask that you please only register if you intend on attending the event.  There is no charge for participants from Richland, Lexington and Fairfield County schools. A $75 registration fee is required for participants out of the MEBA service area or a non-participating MOA school district.
